I had an upper blepharoplasty which was healing beautifully until one week after surgery I awakened at night rubbing my left eyelid (itching ).It burned horribly and swelled and brised all along the incision line. My doctor gave me steroids to reduce swelling, will this injury compromise the surgery? Can my tissues heal the way they are? Bumpy and unsmooth?
Hopefully the steroids helped. Keep going to the surgeon for pptions to help the healing.
