I am very much considering the idea of liposuction and was wondering about alot of the risks that come with it- I would want the lipo to take place on my thighs mostly- and had heard numerous accounts of mishaps in that area- such as after the fat was taken out on the back of the thighs- the buttocks began to sag and the area became distorted- can this happen, and what are the chances? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Dear Angel Eyes,
Yes, you are right. There are lots of risks involved with liposuction. Other complications are dimpling of the skin, puckering and asymmetrical healing. Like all surgical procedures, make sure the doc you choose has the expertise and experience. All the questions to adk and how to research your doctor are in my book, "Cosmetic Surgery: Before, Between and After"
I hope this helps you.
My best,
Susan Gail
