I had a 100%TCA Cross spot peel performed on my face over 4 weeks ago. My face ia terrible and the Dr. has now prescribed LIDEX/E .05%. My face has many indentations now left from the TCA - I am a wreck because the indentations were not there before. I also have areas that were streaked by the acid on my face. I would like to know if the indentations will fill in? The Dr. said it will take 12-18 months to heal. I am a basket case because I have 2 sons getting married next March and I will now look terrible. I do not go out and cry a lot - no one ever told me my face would look this bad. I had the procedure done for acne scarring by the same plastic surgeon who done a full face co2 laser on me. I was instructed to use warm/hot compresses on my face after the procedure but now the nurse said I should have used cool compresses. Do you think my face is now damaged? I would appreciate any information that you can offer on this issue.
