had bunion surgery on april 23rd with a fusion. dr. told me i would have pins and screws out in 6 weeks and back to work at 8 weeks. now he tells me i wont have my next sergery till 12 weeks and back to work at 14. it has been a nightmare. been 9 weeks and i am on vicadin. was on demerol for 4 weeks. still in pain and swelled. he told me to start walking on it at 6 weeks but it is so swollen and hurts its imposible. is this normal. i cry every day. i feel like my foot will never be normal again. thank you. cindy
