Ultrasonic lipo uses ultasound waves on the fat tissue which compresses and emulsifies them to be removed by the cannula. The power assisted lipo helps decrease the physicians fatiques and shortens the process for a reduction in bruising. Both are newer techniques although the ultrasonic is being updated with the VASER assisted liposuction. All techniques have up and down sides and it requires real scrutiny.
